The CFL announced its 2014 schedule on Wednesday and the Montreal Alouettes will once again open the regular season on the road this year, this time against the Calgary Stampeders on Saturday, June 28. Less than a week later, the Alouettes will host their 2014 home opener on Friday, July 4 when the B.C. Lions visit Percival Molson Stadium for a 7:00 p.m. start. Fans can get used to the Friday night lights this summer as the Alouettes will open the weekend five times with Friday evening home games from July 4 through September 7, before shifting over to Sunday afternoon games for the autumn season, plus the annual Holiday Monday tilt on Thanksgiving.
