After two days of meetings with seven teams, NHL prospect Jimmy Vesey and his agents are scheduled to sit and discuss the players options, beginning at 4 p.m. Thursday.A decision will not be made Thursday, but one is expected by Saturday, and perhaps as early as Friday.Vesey, 23, is the reigning winner of the Hobey Baker Award, given to the top mens college hockey player. He became a free agent at 12:01 a.m. Tuesday. In addition to the Buffalo Sabres, who owned exclusive negotiating rights from June 20 to this past Monday, Vesey met with the New York Rangers, New York Islanders, New Jersey Devils, Boston Bruins, Toronto Maple Leafs, Pittsburgh Penguins and Chicago Blackhawks during separate meetings on Tuesday and Wednesday in Boston.Impressive meetings with a lot of different perspectives has certainly given the camp a lot to think about, said Peter Donatelli, one of Veseys agents.Despite reports, no team has been told it is out of the running, according to Donatelli. No, thats not true at all, Donatelli said. None of the teams we met with have been told that. Everyone is still in the mix. Were going to try and drill down right now to a few [teams] and then either call some teams with some questions or not. Well probably reach out to a few teams with some questions that we think were either unanswered or we want clarification on, but thats the intent today. The Blackhawks Patrick Kane was in Boston for Chicagos meeting with Vesey. The Devils Cory Schneider and Kyle Palmieri spoke with Vesey, too. The Rangers Kevin Hayes, a Boston native, has talked with Vesey numerous times this summer while both work out together. The Islanders John Tavares was also in Boston on Tuesday to make his pitch on behalf of the organization. When the Bruins hosted Vesey at the teams new practice facility, numerous Bruins players were in attendance to greet him. Penguins captain Sidney Crosby also reached out to Vesey.Veseys decision will probably come down to which organization gives him the best opportunity to succeed in a top-six role, including special teams. The winner of the Vesey sweepstakes will sign him to an entry-level deal with a base salary of $925,000, plus as much as $1.925 million in performance bonuses. Miles Boykin Ravens Jersey . Jamie Vardy leads the way with a point shy of 200 so far, but it was Manchester United debutant Marcus Rashford who racked up more points than any other player over the weekend with 20 thanks to two goals and an assist against Arsenal.Heres a look at the leagues best-performing XI, which you could actually afford with £2.3m to spare with Sky Sports Fantasy Footballs 75m budget... Petr Cech (£5.9m)Plenty suggested the former Chelsea man was the final piece to Arsenals title-winning puzzle, but while he has kept his end of the bargain, with a league high of 12 clean sheets, the Gunners are five points off the pace following their 3-2 Old Trafford loss. An honourable mention goes to Watfords Heurelho Gomes (£4.3m), who sits second after racking up his 10th clean sheet and fourth Sky Sports Man of the Match award in Saturdays stalemate with Bournemouth.Toby Alderweireld (£6.5m) Toby Alderweireld has helped transform Tottenhams defence The Belgians influence has arguably been the most important factor in Tottenhams title charge, transforming one of the leagues worst defences into the very best. Spurs conceded more goals than relegated Hull last season and the same at home as bottom side QPR, compared to five less than any other side this season. Alderweireld has also chipped in with three assists and two goals.Jose Fonte (£6.5m)The return of Fraser Forster has helped Southampton become the leagues most in-form backline. Fonte and co racked up six clean sheets in a row and went 639 minutes without conceding until Chelsea launched their late comeback on Saturday.Virgil van Dijk (£6.1m) Virgil van Dijk has racked up more than any other summer signing Replacing Alderweireld was never going to be an easy task but Southamptons typically shrewd recruitment came up trumps again by bringing the Dutchman in from Celtic. His performances have warranted four MOTM awards, with 10 clean sheets and two goals seeing him rack up more points than any other Premier League defender.Mesut Ozil (£8.4m)Arsenals assist machine Ozil has proved to be the Premier Leagues No 1 creative force, setting up 18 goals this season and collecting passing bonus points on eight occasions. The German also took his goal tally to five at the weekend, while boasting three MOTM awards.Dele Alli (£4m) Dele Alli has scored seven goals and six assists this season The 19-year-old has undoubtedly been the young revelation of the season, going from leading MK Dons to promotion froom Sky Bet League 1 to starring in Tottenhams title charge.dddddddddddd To put into context just how unexpected his success has been, Sky Sports Fantasy Football priced him up at a mere £4m at the start of the season, less than half the price of Eden Hazard, who has collected just 65 points, and the same as Leicesters Joe Dodoo and West Hams Josh Cullen, who have a combined 20 minutes of Premier League action to their names.Ross Barkley (£6.7m)Barkleys good form this season has come despite Evertons relatively disappointing campaign, scoring eight and setting up another seven. Roberto Martinezs men have scored more than any side outside the top four but have failed to make the most of their attacking prowess, with just eight wins leaving them 12th in the table. Barkley edges Stokes Marko Arnautovic (129 points, £5.5m), Cesc Fabregas (125 points and £8.7m) and Georginio Wijnaldum (123 points and £7m) out of the team of the season. Sky Sports Fantasy Football Not got a team yet? Theres still plenty of weekly and monthly prizes to be won this season. Riyad Mahrez (£6m)The Algerian is the Premier Leagues top performing midfielder by over 30 points courtesy of reaching double figures in both goals and assists - the only player to achieve that feat this season. He also boasts a league high of nine MOTM awards while scoring the same amount of goals as Sky Sports Fantasy Footballs most expensive player Sergio Aguero, with 14 to his name.Jamie Vardy (£7.3m) Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez have fired Leicester to the top of the table Having scored five goals in a side which needed the most remarkable of escapes to avoid relegation last season, few expected Vardy to be topping the scoring charts and Leicester to be top of the table with 11 games to go. The former Stocksbridge Park Steels striker is also Sky Sports Fantasy Footballs leading scorer on 199 points, with six assists and seven MOTM awards going alongside his 19 goals.Odion Ighalo (£6.5m)In a season of surprise packages, Watford striker Ighalos efforts have gone somewhat under the radar. The Nigerian ended 2015 as the highest scoring player in the top four tiers of English football, while his 15 goals and six assists have contributed to the leagues most prolific strike partnership, with Troy Deeney netting eight times and setting up another seven.Romelu Lukaku (£8.8m)Evertons powerful frontman keeps Harry Kane (£9.3m and 151 points) out of the line-up despite both players being on 16 goals, with the Belgian boasting three more assists and one more MOTM award than the England striker. The goals have dried up of late, however, with just one from his last seven Premier League appearances, following a run of 10 in his previous nine.
